What is Bone Grafting?

For single and multi-teeth implants, bone grafting may be required prior to implant placement, during placement, and occasionally after placement. New Teeth Today™ Dental Implant Centre surgeons are trained in a variety of bone grafting techniques that include using patient’s own bone as well as bone substitutes to restore the volume of the jaw in order to accommodate a dental implant. The need for bone grafting is determined through the use of 3D imaging such as a CBCT and will be discussed at your consultation.
